I want to build a frequency synthesizer. Could i build it only with AD9835? It includes everything i need and i just have to programm it? I first thought of designing the frequency synthesizer using a PIC for the fixed divider and a dsPIC for the programmable divider. Can i use a PIC like 16fxx for the programmable divider instead of a dsPIC? I mean, if the PIC can be programmed in real time using a serial like RS232? Thank you very much! Have a nice day! I really enjoyed reading your description of how to make a PCB. I am planning to build a model of an Arc Welder for a model railway diorama. If you did not have a pcb how would you connect all the wires coming through the board? By Soldering each of them in sequence? Also I just trashed our Sony Tinitron tv but kept the boards. I've made a pll transmitter for my guitar with help of your schematics, but some differences: 1 crystal for pic and lmx2306, pic16f628 with serial input and buttons (+/- 50KHz), frequency 38 to 39MHz,High Z audio preamp, and...it works fine. You've made great job ! regards

Your site is really great (for amateurs in electronics and even for professionals - it's just a very good stuff!), you are good engineer, developer, you found and\or made all these materials. It's a good work. So, could you fix (if you can and want to, of course) problem with downloading source code file from your site (.asm or .hex, I don't know) for freq counter based on 7-segment LEDs. Because when it downloaded, it's allways broken archive! Thank you, anyway. Good luck!
